Why do people feel like they need to put their vehicle's headlights on HIGH BEAM when they meet a cyclist ? Riding yesterday and virtually every (95%) driver went to bright ... do they not realize that the cyclist cannot see a thing when they do that ? Really aggravates me ! Maybe tonight I should take my mag-lite or q-beam and return the favor ? Just a rant ...

Went to Immerse in Tyler, TX last night ... speaker was pretty good ... just a real guy that has a love for college age people ... he was not fancy ... he was not fake ... good guy ... topic was drinking ... he didn't hit anyone over the head with DON'T DO THIS AND DON'T DO THAT ... just a simple plea to STOP and think ... what are the affects ? What are you trying to accomplish ? But ... he did say one thing ( not that the entire thing wasn't good -- not saying that at all ) that REALLY REALLY stood out to me ... His words - " Your convictions form your beliefs which in turn cause you to make specific choices ... "
Where do convictions originate ? Family ... friends ... church ... school
Question ... is it possible to change your convictions ? Or do they change in their own time on their own ?
Question ... is it possible to have false convictions ?
Question ... what is the difference between convictions and beliefs ?
Statement ... Just for record ... I don't know the answers to these questions ... just asking ...
One last thing
Todd and his guys were great ... worship was definitely on time ... !!
